What NomadStamp is
A logbook for your motorhome or campervan. It keeps your service history, MOT and habitation dates, gas and damp records, tyres, trips, mileage and your own paperwork. All of it exports as one PDF you can hand to a buyer.
What it deliberately does not do
NomadStamp is a record-keeper, not an advisor. It keeps what you and your workshops wrote down and shows it back exactly as entered. It never tells you whether something is due, safe or legal, and it never works out a date from a reading. Where you want warning, you set a reminder against a date you chose.
This is the design, not an unfinished feature. If you are looking for “your MOT expires in 30 days” and cannot find it, the app is working as intended.
Questions people actually ask
How do I get my MOT history in?
On the dashboard, tap Fill in from DVSA and type your registration. That fetches the vehicle's MOT history from the government's own records. It is the only time anything leaves your phone — see the privacy policy.
The lookup didn't work.
The app tells you what happened rather than spinning: no connection, an unknown registration, or the service being busy. A van under three years old has no MOT history yet, which is normal and not an error. Everything the lookup would have filled in can be typed in by hand, and nothing else in the app depends on it.
Is there an account? Where is my data?
There is no account and no sign-in. Your logbook is on your iPhone, and syncs through your own iCloud to your own devices if you are signed in. There is no NomadStamp server holding it.
I have more than one van.
All of them are included in the one purchase. Each is a complete and separate logbook with its own records, its own reminders and its own resale pack — nothing is shared, totalled or compared across them. Add one from the button at the top of the dashboard.
How do reminders work?
They fire against dates and mileages you set. The app never invents one from a reading, a DOT code or a service interval it thinks applies to your van.
Can I get my records out?
Yes, at any time: Other → Export builds the resale pack as a PDF and you choose which sections go in. It is real text, so it is searchable and printable. There is a complete sample on the front page.
I logged something by mistake.
Anything you log can be undone from the banner that appears straight after it. The one thing that cannot is removing a whole vehicle, which takes its records with it — so the app asks first, and says plainly that there is no undo.
What does it need?
An iPhone running iOS 26 or later. It is a one-off purchase with no subscription and no in-app purchases.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple rather than from us, at reportaproblem.apple.com. If the app is not what you expected, an email telling us why is genuinely useful either way.
Something is wrong with the app
Email support@nomadstamp.app with what you were doing, what happened, and the version from Other → About, where the build number sits under the app's name. A screenshot helps. Feature requests are read too — this is a small app made by one person, and the roadmap is mostly other owners' emails.
