NomadStamp collects no data about you. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics and no advertising. Your logbook stays on your device and in your own iCloud, and the developer has no way to read it.
Where your records live
Everything you enter — services, certificates, damp readings, mileage, trips, photos and files — is stored in the app's own storage on your iPhone. If you are signed in to iCloud, it also syncs to your iCloud private database so your own devices agree with each other. That is Apple's storage, under your Apple Account, and it is not readable by NomadStamp's developer.
There is no NomadStamp server holding your records. Deleting the app removes the copy on that device; removing the app's data from iCloud is done through iOS Settings, the same way as for any other app.
The one thing that leaves, and only when you ask
Tap “Fill in from DVSA” and your registration goes to a lookup service run by NomadStamp's developer, which asks the government for that vehicle's MOT history. It keeps no logs and no database: it passes the question on and hands the answer back. Nothing else about you or your van goes with it, and nothing is sent at all if you never use the button.
In technical terms, that service is a Cloudflare Worker with no storage attached to it: no KV namespace, no D1 database, no R2 bucket, no Durable Object and no analytics binding. There is nowhere for it to write a registration down. The registration is sent in the body of an HTTPS request, never in a URL, and the credentials the government API requires are held only in that service's encrypted secret store — never in the app.
Your registration is transmitted when you use that button. It is not collected: nothing retains it beyond answering the question you asked.
Apart from that one lookup, the app makes no network requests. It works offline, on purpose, because a motorhome is frequently somewhere with no signal.
What the App Store label says, question by question
Apple asks about sixteen categories of data. The answer is “no” to all of them, and the resolved label is Data Not Collected.

Tracking
None. Nothing is shared with data brokers, no data is linked to third-party data for advertising, and the app never shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt because it has nothing to ask for.
Third parties
The app contains no third-party frameworks, no software development kits and no dependencies of any kind. The only external party involved in normal use is the government's own MOT history service, reached through the lookup described above, and Apple, for the purchase and for iCloud.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and has no user-generated content, no social features and no messaging. It is not directed at children, and since it collects nothing, it collects nothing from anybody of any age.
Your data, and asking for it back
There is nothing to request, correct or export from us, because we hold nothing. Your records are yours and already on your device: the app exports the whole logbook as a PDF whenever you want one, and deleting the app deletes its copy.

Changes to this policy
If this ever changes it will be because the app changed, and the same sentences appear on the app's own About screen — so the two cannot quietly disagree. The date at the top of this page is the date it last changed.
