Privacy policy

NomadStamp collects zero personal data. There are no user accounts, tracking analytics, or adverts. Your data remains entirely within your device storage and private iCloud account.
Local & cloud storage
Every record, damp reading, odometer reading and attachment stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. There is no server holding them, and the developer cannot read them. Manage the iCloud side through iOS Settings.
DVSA lookup architecture
One thing leaves, and only when you ask for it. Tap Fill in from DVSA and only your registration goes over HTTPS to a stateless lookup service, which asks the government for that vehicle's MOT history. It keeps no logs and no database, and discards the request as soon as it hands the answer back. Everything else in the app works offline.
App Store privacy disclosures
NomadStamp qualifies for Apple's Data Not Collected label across all 16 categories:
- Contact & identity: No accounts, contact lists, or user IDs used.
- Financial & purchases: App Store transactions are handled by Apple. Costs you type onto a record stay on your device.
- Location: No location permission is requested. Trips are typed in by hand.
- Media & files: Photos and files you attach to a record stay on your device.
- Diagnostics & usage: Zero telemetry, analytics frameworks, or custom crash loggers installed.
- Web & search: Search queries run locally on-device with no external web views.
Zero tracking policy
No data is collected, sold, or shared with third-party networks or data brokers. The app contains no tracking code.
Third-party dependencies
NomadStamp contains no external SDKs, ad frameworks, or tracking libraries. External communication is strictly limited to official DVSA MOT requests and standard Apple iCloud sync.
Age & content ratings
There are no social feeds, forums or messaging of any kind, and no personal information is gathered from anybody. The App Store age rating is set from Apple's own questionnaire and is shown on the listing.
Data portability & deletion
Because every record is on your own device, there is nothing here to request or delete. Export the resale pack as a PDF at any time from Other → Export Resale Pack, or delete the app to remove the local files.
Government data attribution
Vehicle and MOT data is provided by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). NomadStamp is an independent application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the DVSA, the DVLA or the Department for Transport.
Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

This page says the same things as the About screen at the foot of the Other tab, and will change only if what the app does with data changes.
