A logbook app for your motorhome or campervan
Keep your service history, MOT and habitation dates, damp surveys, tyres, trips, costs and documents in one logbook on your iPhone. NomadStamp exports all of it as one PDF resale pack.
What the logbook holds
Each kind of record has its own register, and every register says how many records it holds and what it most recently received. The full list is on the features page.
- Service history. Work done, the garage, the cost, the mileage, the inspection sheet line by line, and attached invoice photos.
- Habitation checks. One record per visit: the dates, who did the work, what it cost, what was carried out, and the check sheet line by line.
- Damp surveys. Readings by location, with the meter and the engineer.
- Tyres. One entry per wheel position including the spare, with fitted dates, mileage, brand, and the DOT code off the sidewall.
- Costs and invoices. Every recorded cost in one list, grouped by the register that holds each record.
- Trips and mileage. Dates, mileage out and back, and odometer readings logged on their own.
Two halves of one van
A motorhome is two things bolted together: a base vehicle underneath and a habitation body on top. NomadStamp gives them a tab each, because that is how the trades work on your van and how the paperwork arrives.
MOT history from your registration
Enter your registration to pull complete MOT records directly from the DVSA, including dates, test results, and recorded mileage. A van under three years old has no tests yet, and the app says so rather than treating it as a failure. Everything can be typed in by hand at any time.
Vehicle and MOT data is provided by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). NomadStamp is an independent application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the DVSA, the DVLA or the Department for Transport.
Habitation checks and damp readings
Log damp readings by location across every survey. Keeping multi-year data is what turns a folder of loose reports into a record a buyer can read. Read more about what a habitation check report records.
Tyres, weights and payload
Record the DOT code off the sidewall for every wheel position, and NomadStamp shows the code and works nothing out from it. MTPLM is the van's maximum weight with its load, and MIRO is its weight empty and ready for the road. Enter both and NomadStamp subtracts one from the other to give you the payload.
One PDF for resale
Export everything in a single, searchable document: services, certificates, inspection sheets, damp readings, tyres, appliances, damage, and every photo you have filed. It is real text, not screenshots, so a buyer can search and print it. You choose what goes in before you share it. See the paperwork a motorhome buyer asks for for what the pack holds, or open the sample pack (PDF).
What it leaves to you
NomadStamp is a record-keeper, not an advisor. It never tells you whether something is due, safe or legal, and it never works a date out of a damp reading, a tyre code or a service record. You control your own schedule by setting reminders against dates you choose. A mileage reminder is the one exception, and the app shows you the date it works out from your own odometer readings.
NomadStamp does not find campsites either. It keeps what you and your workshops wrote down.
Your records stay yours
Records are stored on your device and sync through your own private iCloud database. There is no account to create, there is no analytics, and there is no company server holding your logbook. One thing leaves this device, and it leaves when you tap Fill in from DVSA: your registration goes to a lookup service that keeps no logs and no database. Read the privacy policy.
