A logbook for your motorhome or campervan
Your motorhome has a paper trail.
This is where it lives.
Type your registration and NomadStamp pulls your van's full MOT history straight from DVSA. Add your services, your habitation checks and your damp readings as they happen, photograph the paperwork, and it builds quietly for years.
Every van you own. No account, no subscription, no advertising. iPhone, iOS 26 or later.
What a logbook this size turns into
- 36
- pages in the finished pack
- 113
- records behind it
- 84
- photographs and documents
- 8
- years, 2018 to 2026
Those are the figures of the sample pack further down this page. It is a real export from a test van rather than a mock-up, so you can open the PDF and count.
The three things that make it worth paying for
It knows your MOT history already
Every test, with its date, its result and its mileage, exactly as DVSA holds them.
- 16 Mar 2026
- Pass. No defects.
- 17 Mar 2025
- Pass, one advisory
- 11 Mar 2024
- Pass. No defects.
- 13 Mar 2023
- Pass, advisories
- 14 Mar 2022
- Pass, advisories
- 12 Mar 2021
- Pass. No defects.
Six tests, filed in the time it takes to type seven characters. The advisory wording is the testing station's, kept as written.
It keeps the damp trend
One year's reading is a number. Eight years of readings is what a motorhome is actually worth. Kept year by year, so the trend is there at resale.

One location — the rear nearside lower corner — off eight annual reports. The figures and the reseal recorded against 2023 are the workshop's. NomadStamp stores them and draws them, and says nothing about them.
And it ends as a document
When you sell, it exports the lot as one PDF: the service history, the certificates, and the damp readings year by year. The sheet every owner loses and every buyer asks for.
What a buyer gets handed
A van with a documented history and a van with a suspicious respray are not the same van, and they do not fetch the same money. The trend at the rear corner, the habitation check every September, the invoice for the reseal — a buyer who can read all of it in one sitting has nothing left to knock you down on.
It is also the difference between answering a question and proving it. Most private sales come down to the seller saying the work was done and the buyer deciding whether to believe them.
Whether that is worth anything to your van is between you and your buyer. NomadStamp's part is that the paperwork exists, in order, in one file.
Twelve sections, and you pick them
The export screen lists the headings the document prints under. Turn off anything you would rather not send and it is not in the file — and its paperwork comes out of the appendix with it.
- On file, year by year
- Service history
- Certificates and dates
- Inspection sheets
- Tyre register
- Damp surveys
- Appliances fitted
- Damage
- Trips
- Odometer readings
- Checks carried out
- Photographs and documents
A made-up van, so there is nobody's registration in it. Real text rather than a folder of screenshots, so it is searchable and it prints. The layout, the headings and the tables are exactly what the app produces.

What it doesn't do
NomadStamp is a record-keeper, not an advisor. It keeps what you and your workshops wrote down and shows it back exactly as entered. It never tells you whether something is due, safe or legal, and it never works out a date from a reading. Where you want warning, you set a reminder against a date you chose.
If you are after an app that decides when your van needs work, this isn't it, and that's deliberate.
There's no campsite finder either. Park4Night and Brit Stops do that well.
Your records stay yours
Your logbook stays on your device and in your own iCloud. There is no account, no sign-in and no analytics. NomadStamp has no server holding your records and no way to read them.
One thing leaves, and only when you ask for it. Tap “Fill in from DVSA” and your registration goes to a lookup service run by NomadStamp's developer, which asks the government for that vehicle's MOT history. It keeps no logs and no database: it passes the question on and hands the answer back. Nothing else about you or your van goes with it, and nothing is sent at all if you never use the button.
Why isn't it free?
Because there's no advertising in it and nothing in it is trying to sell you something later. You pay once, it works offline forever, and there is no account, no subscription and nothing collecting your data to make money another way.
A free app has to make its money somewhere, and for this kind of app that is normally ads, a subscription, or your data. This one is £9.99 and then it's yours. That is the whole business model.
Before you buy it
Is there an account? Where is my data?
There is no account and no sign-in. Your logbook is on your iPhone, and syncs through your own iCloud to your own devices if you are signed in. There is no NomadStamp server holding it.
I have more than one van.
All of them are included in the one purchase. Each is a complete and separate logbook with its own records, its own reminders and its own resale pack — nothing is shared, totalled or compared across them.
How do reminders work?
They fire against dates and mileages you set. The app never invents one from a reading, a DOT code or a service interval it thinks applies to your van.
What if the DVSA lookup doesn't work?
The app tells you what happened rather than spinning: no connection, an unknown registration, or the service being busy. A van under three years old has no MOT history yet, which is normal and not an error. Everything the lookup would have filled in can be typed in by hand, and nothing else in the app depends on it.
Can I get my records out?
Yes, at any time. Export builds the resale pack as a PDF and you choose which sections go in. It is real text, so it is searchable and printable.
What does it need?
An iPhone running iOS 26 or later. It is a one-off purchase with no subscription and no in-app purchases.
